La Dolce Vita

La Dolce Vita Gite

La Dolce Vita is a cosy, unconventional village house rich with the history of bygone days and international cultural influences.

The unique decoration and furnishings in each of the 4 guest rooms provide an eclectic and stimulating escape from the hum-drum routine of daily life, forming what one guest described as the “perfect antidote to soul-less hotel stop-overs”.

The house’s rooftop terrace is the perfect spot to kick back and relax with a glass of local wine discovered on your “Taste du Languedoc” tour. Enjoy the views over the local vineyards and across to the 14th century church.

Get in touch

Having given Matthew a brief for a special day of wine tasting and an evening meal he couldn't have gotten it more spot on. The wine tasting was fantastic with two contrasting vineyards and a lovely seafood lunch in Gruissan.

He made a change during the day to visit a salt shop as one of the party expressed an interest. His unrushed attitude and extensive knowledge of wine and the local area was exactly what we required for our day.

In the evening we went back to our house where we had a tasting of different sparkling wines and Matthew with his chef Erica organised an evening meal for the kids and later for the grown ups.

A fantastic and perfect day and thank you for the introduction to "Julius"!
